Week 13 - Skateboard Painting, Start New Computers, Boat Building, Podcasting, Blogging

Worked on grade specific projects

* 5th Graders worked on Assignment 4 - Transportation in Water. They tested different configurations of floating (putty) and loaded a boat with marbles.


Some students moved on to building robots!



* 6th Graders - Continued to Prep Skateboards and some started painting!

Taylor won for Logo Contest and it will now be put on all boards.

* 7th Graders - Worked on Videos! Which are due JUNE 1! Check out our blogs to see video of us working.



* 8 Graders - We started building our NEW computers! We put in our CDRoms and Hard Drives. Check out our blog to see video of us in action!

Week 12 - Skateboard Prep, Old Computers, Car Racing, Audio on iMovie, Blogging

* 5th Graders worked on Assignment 3 - Race for Slowest Car and one that could pull the most weight!



* 6th Graders - Continued to Prep Skateboard for painting by sanding and drilling. Watched Video on How a Skateboard, Bearings, and Safety Glasses are made.



* 7th Graders - Worked on Audio on Videos! Learned how to do Narration and make own music in Garage Band. We learned how to split video and get pictures for our Storyboard's off video. We learned how to put pictures on the profile side of our blog as well!





* 8 Graders - Blogged and took apart old computers. Took out Motherboards and REBUILT computer so it would work again!

Week 11 - Blogging, Skateboards, Old Computers, Racing

Worked on grade specific projects

* 5th Graders worked on Assignment 3 - Race for SPEED!


* 6th Graders - Picked Skateboard for Prep work, sanding and drilling. Cut out Template for foam board template. VOTE for your favorite logo....



* 7th Graders - Blogged on area of skateboard factory doing as well as Storyboarded video. Storyboard due - Posting up on blog!










* 8 Graders - Blogged and took apart old computers. Took out CDRoms, Floppy, and Hard Drives then replaced everything.
